FROM UP HERE

FROM UP HERE tells the story of Kenny, a high school senior who was suspended after bringing a gun to school. Just as Kenny and his family begin to piece their life back together in preparation for his first day back at school, his estranged, disorderly aunt appears at the front door and shatters it even further.

Just as I did on THE WOLVES, I partnered with Nicholas Escobar to create original music for FROM UP HERE. Nicholas’ transition music, which unravels from melody into dissonance over the course of the play, helped underscore the story’s downhill spiral.
